Maximum freedom
Community ground rules
MosHub starts from as much freedom as possible. These are two narrow ground rules, not a list of duties or permitted opinions.
Freedom is the default
Everything is allowed unless it crosses one of the two ground rules below. The ground rules do not impose a duty to be polite, constructive, authentic, useful, or agreeable. Criticism may be harsh, offensive, or unpopular.
Ground rule
1. No doxxing
Doxxing means publishing, soliciting, combining, or helping uncover personal or identifying information about another person without consent in a way that enables them to be located, contacted, threatened, or exposed. It is never allowed. Public fragments can still become doxxing when combined or republished in a harmful context.
Ground rule
2. Legal necessity and MosHub's continued operation
Content crosses this ground rule when MosHub is legally required to act or when, because of its nature and seriousness, keeping it available creates a concrete threat to MosHub's continued operation. The boundary is applied as narrowly as applicable law and non-optional infrastructure requirements permit, with maximum weight given to freedom of expression and internet freedom. MosHub still needs to research the applicable legal field and how other services draw this boundary to find the freest lawful approach.
Context, not a ban
Spam, advertising, and manipulation
Spam can be funny or useful. Advertising is not MosHub's purpose, but spam, advertising, coordinated or fake reactions, and impersonation are not prohibited as such. Treat identities and popularity signals as unverified and do your own due diligence. Neutral technical limits may apply to keep the service available; the two ground rules always remain in force.
Context, not a ban
Harassment, threats, and criticism
Harassment, insults, threats, and harsh criticism are not automatically prohibited. MosHub acts only when they independently cross the no-doxxing ground rule or the narrow legal-necessity and site-continuity ground rule. Freedom of expression comes first.
Limited action after publication
MosHub does not review content before publication and does not yet operate routine moderation or promise a response time. After publication, MosHub acts only on doxxing and content that crosses the second ground rule. A report is a signal, not proof, and never removes content automatically. Criticism is not removed because its viewpoint, conclusion, or tone is unwelcome; action requires an independent ground-rule breach.
Anonymity and functional data
MosHub does not ask commenters for an email address or public identity and is designed to retain only technical data needed for current functionality, security, rate limiting, and report deduplication. Comments appear as Anonymous, but anonymity is not guaranteed: hosting infrastructure may process network addresses and timestamps. MosHub is still researching whether every item is necessary and how even this functional data can be further minimised, protected, and deleted, including under applicable law.
